Coaching to Unblock Your Creativity When You’re Feeling Stuck.

Feeling stuck doesn’t mean we’re broken or lost. It means we’re bound up in the systems that keep us inundated, distracted, numb: systems that condition us to silence ourselves, to value productivity over expression, and to fear imagining a different way forward.

My coaching is for artists, writers, makers, creatives and dreamers who feel stuck in the muck of our current reality, but know it is beyond time to reclaim our voices, our narratives, and our imaginations in order to build a different way forward. It’s for folks who know their blocks aren’t just personal quirks, but part of a larger story of survival under capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy, and colonialism. Coaching together is about radical relational repair in order to reclaim our creativity as an act of liberation.

You’ve hit a wall. Maybe it’s in your career, maybe it’s in your creative work, maybe it’s in relationships — maybe it’s all of it.

  • You’re in a career transition (by choice or not) and feel disoriented, unsure what’s next.

  • You’ve poured yourself into work that now feels meaningless or unsustainable.

  • You’ve tried to start a new path — a project, a business, a creative practice — but keep stalling out.

  • You feel like you’ve lost your voice and don’t know how to reconnect to what lights you up.

  • You know you can’t go back to the way things were, but the way forward feels foggy.

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Getting Unstuck Is Relational

We’re taught by capitalism to imagine the lone genius at their desk as the pinnacle of creative practice. But the truth is, creativity has always been relational:

  • With yourself — rebuilding trust, quieting the critic, practicing self-compassion.

  • With others — mirrors who remind you your work matters, communities who hold you accountable with care.

  • With the world — land, movements, and lineages that call your imagination forward.

When creativity feels blocked, it’s often because these relationships have been fractured—by self-criticism, isolation, systemic oppression, or exhaustion.

Relationships are a beautiful, messy terrain ripe for growth and healing. It is through relationships that we heal. It’s through relationships that we reclaim our power and our creative practice.

That’s what I do: create a trusted, supportive coaching relationship for you to grow within.. My coaching space is a grounded, relational container bespoke to you to meet you in your journey.

About Me

Hey, I’m Sara. I’m so glad you found your way here. I’m the founder of Folkweaver, and am a mother and writer, partner and friend, coach and community builder here to co-create a world that radically reimagines the way we are to be in relationship together.

Storytelling, coaching, circle holding and art-making are her vehicles to radically re-imagine our relationship with ourselves, each other, and our planet.

I hold a Masters degree as a teacher, am trained as a doula, coached cross-industry founders and executives in nonviolent communication and restorative justice principles to for half a decade, and have trained in modalities including intuitive medicine and somatic experiencing.

When I’m not coaching or art-making, I writes weekly essays which you can subscribe to at folkweaver.substack.com. I’m published at Motherly Magazine and Mutha Magazine.

My Coaching Approach

My multimodal approach ingrates intuitive and energy work, somatic experiencing, internal family systems, nonviolent communication, restorative justice, attachment theory, and mindfulness practices.

I coach through a mindful, embodied, and liberation-based lens, which means:

  • Honoring the systemic pressures you navigate (you are not failing; you’re surviving).

  • Using a multimodal relational, humanistic coaching approach that is empathetic to support your self-inquiry.

  • Empowering you to internalize the tools and mindsets so you are able to reclaim your own healing journey and practice what we work on together in your everyday life.

  • Offering tools rooted in care, embodiment, and radical imagination—not superficial hacks or hustle culture

  • Connecting creativity to our collective healing, justice, and flourishing.

What Coaching together Looks Like

In our 1:1 weekly virtual sessions, we create a safe relational container to lovingly get curious about what’s holding us back from actualizing our creative dreams.

  • Naming our wildest creative dreams

  • Getting curious together about what blocks us from pursuing or achieving those

  • Working with different modalities to rewire our patterns that no longer serve us to build healthier pathways

We can work together through:

  • Short sprints such as studying for a test, writing a grant, applying to a program

  • Longer projects like novels, getting a business idea off the ground, etc

  • Stuck periods where we’re searching for our next thing, calling, or purpose

This Is For You If…

  • You’re feeling stuck and lost in purpose or direction.

  • You’ve started a project or several, but can’t seem to finish.

  • You are in a career transition.

  • You are in the middle of a sprint and need support or an accountability double.

  • You’re full of ideas, but rarely give yourself permission to begin.

  • You’re a mother looking to reclaim your power.

  • You are trying to figure out how to carve out space for yourself under the demands of living under White Supremacy, Capitalism, and Patriarchy

  • You know creativity is one of our biggest tools to resistance.

  • You’re ready to reclaim your voice as part of our collective liberation.

  • You want to root your creative practice in liberation.

Sliding Scale Coaching

My coaching is relational, not transactional — I hold a very small number of clients at a time so we can go deep together.

I offer coaching on a weekly or bi-weekly basis because consistency is what builds momentum.

This September, I’m offering Founding Client rates: $150–$225/week (billed monthly). You choose your spot on the scale based on your financial capacity. Each package includes a weekly 60-minute 1:1 session + light online support between sessions.

These founding rates are available through the end of September. Beginning in the Fall my coaching rate will move to $225-275/week (with a limited number of sliding-scale spots starting at $200/week for caregivers, BIPOC folks, and those navigating transition).

We live in late-stage capitalism, where care work and creative work are too often undervalued. I want coaching to remain accessible and to sustain me as a working parent and writer. That’s why I use a sliding scale.

If you’re ready to get unstuck…

…let’s chat! I’m have a small number of coaching spots available for new clients this fall, and would love to have a free intro chat together to see whether coaching might be a good fit to help you get unstuck and flow as you’re meant to.
