Release to Reimagine Workshop
Join us for Release to Reimagine, a guided virtual gathering where we’ll root into ritual, writing, and art to embrace the transformative gifts of decomposition and make space for radical imagination.
Together, we’ll explore what needs to be laid down in our own lives and in these systems we swim in— urgency, productivity, doubt, or fear — and honor the rot as fertile ground for imagination and renewal.
Inspired by this Fall’s Zine, Composting What No Longer Serves Us, and this month’s Book Club Book, Imagination by Ruha Benjamin, this is a space for integration in community.
Through grounding meditation, therapeutic writing, community ritual, and expressive art-making, we’ll create pause and release together, making space to reimagine what comes next.
Co-faciltiated by Expressive Arts Social Workers Kayla Skinner-Roy and Makeena Marie Oluwabunmi Rivers in collaboration with Sara Sadek, Founder of Folkweaver.
